Unfortunately the process for a successful laser hair removal treatment can't be done in one treatment, generally we recommend between 6 - 8 treatments spaced between 4 - 6 weeks apart based on which area of the body we're treating.

The timescale is also not the only factor when having laser hair removal, due to the process of how the laser works we can't treat anyone with an active tan as the chances of a complication arising greatly increase. In fact, we would have to delay treatment by a minimum of three weeks which may have a negative impact on the results you achieve after your course of treatments has finished.

The ideal time for starting your laser hair removal course would be when you intend to avoid a sunny climate for an extended period of time. Of course, you can regularly apply sun lotion to reduce or avoid having an active tan and have treatment but you should be avoiding the sun as much as possible while having a course of laser hair removal treatments.
